Dr. Cornett, an alumnus of the Medical College of Virginia, has been practicing medicine at Mechanicsville Medical Center since 2004. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia’s Chesterfield Family Practice and is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

In his spare time, Dr. Cornett enjoys various recreational activities, church, and travel; all with his wife and three young children. He is a former college and high school teacher. He also enjoys reading non-fiction literature, following various sports, and once spent seven weeks camping on the Appalachian Trail.
